#10 Be Curios

I used the translator for the word "curious" and it gave me "好奇心のある" For those of you who already know the word curious, does the translation sound right? For those of you who don't know the meaning of curious, it simply means wanting to know more about something.

Being curious is also a great attitude, especially when you are learning English. One of the ways we develop this during the lessons is to practice asking questions. This week, students asked me different kinds of questions. Some of them are simple, some of them are more complicated. For example, the questions I got were:

"What did you do today?"
"What kind of books do you like to read?"
"Do you like rice or bread?"
"What are you going to do this weekend?"

Some of the more complicated questions are:

"Could you tell me, what are some of the unique customs or practices in Philippine schools?" "I was wondering, why do many people in the Philippines work in other countries and leave their families?"

Whether it is a simple or more complicated, asking questions will help us learn.
